 As usual with each new pattern release i am excited to finally be able to share it with you all. Odette is a very welcome addition to the Bluegingerdoll pattern gang, and a elegant and glamorous one at that.

'Odette is a one of a kind dress for your wardrobe. A fitted, fully lined bodice featuring a bateau 'V' neckline with a distinctive contrasting insert that frames the face. 

The waistband highlights the waistline along with a seven gored skirt that skims the hips and has just the right amount of flare, as well as in-seam pockets for added practicality.

Your choice of three sleeve variations:

View A - Sleeveless, View B- Short sleeve and View C - 3/4 sleeves with complimenting cuffs.'

 My favorite design feature of the Odette dress is the distinctive bodice insert a the neckline. Teamed with a subtle bateau neckline shape which  beautifully frames the face, not only is the insert a  cool design feature but its also a feature that allows to show of your individual creative talents AND also allows to create a few different contrasting inserts on the one Odette dress so you basically get a whole new dress each time. Simply sew up a few contrasting inserts and button up each new one onto your Odette and you're set. You can also simply take out the contrasting insert and wear your Odette with a flattering and feminine bateau 'V' neckline.

Odette will easily transcend all seasons given the three sleeve options available to you.  Suited to a world of fabric choices such as Cotton & cotton blends,Wool and wool blends, Linen, Broderie Anglasie, Voile, Lawn etc Lightweight fabrics for the lining. 

Designed for an intermediate sewer, but a advanced beginner would easily be able to sail through sewing it up as well.

Odette is available in a beautiful packaged PAPER pattern or the easy PDF download format and in the new (and always) size range of: 4-24.
